Have you ever been to Curacao?

One of my favorite work trips took me to the stunning island of Curaçao. I spent the first few days soaking up the breathtaking beach views before diving into three full days of site inspections across ten different resorts.

The mix was ideal—some resorts were all-inclusive, while others offered a more à la carte experience. We rented a car, which gave us the freedom to explore the entire island at our own pace. After experiencing so much firsthand, I feel incredibly confident recommending Curaçao to clients. I know exactly which spots are best suited to different travel styles and preferences.

Curaçao is a Dutch island in the Netherland Antilles, located just 50 miles off the coast of Venezuela. It's home to more than 21 public beaches and up to 40 beaches in total when you include private resort beaches. I had the chance to visit many of them, and I can confidently say they're some of the Caribbean's finest—each with its own unique charm.

Here are a few that truly stood out:

🌴 Blue Bay Beach   With its powdery white sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters, Blue Bay Beach is perfect for both swimmers and sunbathers. Comfortable lounge chairs, umbrellas, and palapas dot the shoreline, making it an inviting spot to relax. It’s similar in vibe to Cas Abou but with more upscale dining options. They also serve the best coffee on the island—which is saying something!

🏖️ Jan Thiel Beach   Located in Southeastern Curaçao, Jan Thiel has a distinctly European feel. Closer to Willemstad than Mambo Beach, this long, narrow stretch of coastline is lined with high-end resorts—one of my personal favorites is right there. It’s stylish, lively, and great for travelers looking for a resort-centered experience.

🌊 Klein Curaçao (Little Curaçao)   A true gem, Klein Curaçao is a remote, uninhabited island located 15 miles southeast of the main island. It boasts the longest stretch of white sand and the most crystal-clear aqua waters I’ve seen in the region. The beach feels nearly untouched, save for an old lighthouse, a few beach huts, and a single beach house. It’s a dream escape for those looking for serenity and raw beauty.
